A recent critique on my portfolio was that it was really character driven so I am trying to throw in a few backgrounds. I worked on this for an hour or two this afternoon in ps. Let me know what you think people.
I think I like it. It has a three dimensional feel to it... like how the detail on the grassy plain leads your eye into the background... and the detail is on the ground plane in perspective...
