watched a documentary on takehiko inoue this morning and his artwork reminded me of yuka nagate. shes such a talented artist and they both have a really similar style. It inspired me to wip this up. Its a mock up of yukas first issue of "silvery savior." Hope you all digg!

Hey guys, I just recieved some good news that I wanted to share with everyone. I was recently published on ign's new "Hyrules Most Wanted" monsters for the Legend of Zelda article. Recently I have been learning flash...its a bizarre program depending on how your using it. I have been using it to create illustrations like the one I posted to your left. It makes you approach everything from a different perspective which is both frustrating and fun. Enjoy.

Another finished piece to tribute the green machine. This is a painting of Dangoro. He is basically a steampunked mini boss version of the old gorons that have made multiple appearances in our sword swinging heros journey. Its been almost 5 or 6 years since the release of this game, but in case you couldn't remember this is the spot you find the "Hero's Bow." Hope ya'll diggs!

Happy New Year!! Its been a very long two months, but I am finally working again! Thanks to a VERY VERY good friend of mine I am now working for Jakks Pacific as an independent contractor. The work is really fun and I am thankful for just the opportunity to design. This job is going to be my magic door I hope and if i play my cards right...it will open up more and more opportunities.

It was a rough year for me, but thank god for friends and family. I have a good feeling about the early months of 2011.

Gift art for my friend. We used to play this game all day and all night. I would fall asleep and wake up around 4 30 and my friend and his cousin would still be playing. we only had one ps1 so we all had to take turns. very good times :)

My new favorite sketchbook! I got it while i was in japan. Its a little 5x7 watercolor sketchbook and is impossible to find here in the states. The paper is honestly the best I have ever drawn on. Most of these sketches were done in my first ever jury duty service...it was so thrilling haha

Two toy designs I created for my special independent studies class. I created an original character for my project. He is the leader of a team of ROCK HOGS that have escaped their war infested planet and have now crash landed on earth. The second design was Inspired by Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Zelda is a ghost now and she has the power to posses suits of armor to help Link bring her spirit back to her lost body.

little preview of my newest circus member. He is a Thai acrobat. I got him sporting a bomber jacket and his mask is based on Ra-Huu a Thai god who ate the moon or at least threatened too. I went through a lot of thumbnails to get to this final design and I will try to post those in the future as time allows.
